Privacy policy for:
Roundhouse Partnership Solutions LLC (“GlidePath WBL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
Effective date: September 15, 2026
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when schools, coordinators, employers, parents/guardians, and students use GlidePath WBL, including our website, mobile app, email, and text/SMS messages.
GlidePath WBL helps schools and approved partners manage internships and other work-based learning (“WBL”) activities for high school students. Most student users are under 18. We treat student information as sensitive education-related data, not marketing data.
If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service.
1. Who this Policy covers
We collect information about:
- Students participating in internships or other WBL activities
- Parents/guardians of minor students
- School and program staff (teachers, counselors, WBL coordinators, administrators)
- Employers/host sites and their supervisors
- Website or support visitors who contact us
Students under 18 should use the Service only through a participating school or program, and with parent/guardian involvement as required by the school and applicable law.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to operate WBL programs.
Account and contact information
Name, school or organization, role, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address (if provided), username, and login credentials.
Student and program information
School, student ID (if provided by the school), date of birth, course or program name, internship/WBL placement details, work site, supervisor, scheduled hours, timesheets, signed agreements and acknowledgments, notes entered by authorized school staff, and similar program records.
Parent/guardian information
Name, relationship to the student, email, and phone number.
Employer/host-site information
Business name, address, contact name, title, email, phone number, and supervisor communications needed to run the placement.
Communications
Emails, SMS/text messages, in-app messages, and support tickets, including the content needed to send reminders such as “sign this agreement” or “submit your timesheet.”
Device and usage information
IP address, browser or device type, log data, and approximate timestamps. We use this to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
Information from schools or partners
A school or program may upload or connect student roster data, parent contacts, placement assignments, and related records so we can provide the Service on the school’s behalf.
We do not request Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, bank account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric identifiers, health records, or IEP/504 details unless a school separately and lawfully instructs us to collect a specific item that is necessary for a placement. If a school later needs limited health or emergency information for workplace safety, that should be collected and shared only as the school directs and as law allows.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage accounts
- Assign students to approved WBL placements
- Route, collect, and store agreements, permission forms, and timesheets
- Send administrative email and text reminders
- Let authorized school staff, parents/guardians, and host-site supervisors see the information they need for a placement or verify student hours
- Track program participation and generate reports for the school or program
- Provide support, prevent misuse, and keep the Service secure
- Comply with law and school/program contracts
- Improve the Service using aggregated or de-identified data
We use student information only for authorized educational and WBL program purposes. We do not use student information to build advertising profiles.
4. Email and text/SMS messages
We send emails and, if you opt in, text messages for administrative program purposes. Examples:
- Account setup and password or security notices
- Requests to review or sign an agreement
- Timesheet, attendance, or deadline reminders
- Required school or program notices related to the internship/WBL activity
We do not use emails or phone numbers for promotional or third-party marketing texts.
Consent
We send SMS messages only after the relevant person provides a mobile number and consents to program texts. For students under 18, the school or parent/guardian must authorize student texting according to the school’s process and applicable law. Providing a mobile number and checking the SMS opt-in box, or sending a required keyword, is consent to receive recurring administrative texts from GlidePath WBL about the student’s work-based learning activities.
What we disclose at opt-in
At or before opt-in, we will state that:
- Messages are from GlidePath WBL about internships/WBL program administration
- Message frequency varies
- Message and data rates may apply
- Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help
- Consent is not required as a condition of participating, except where a particular reminder channel is needed to complete a required program task
- A copy of this Privacy Policy and any SMS terms is available at https://www.glidepathwbl.com/
Opt-out
Reply STOP to any text to stop non-emergency SMS messages. You may also turn off texts in your account settings or email [email protected]. After opt-out, we may send one confirmation text. Email and in-app notices may still be used. Emergency or legally required notices may still be delivered by another channel.
Reply HELP or email [email protected] for help.
SMS data use and sharing
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in records are used only to send and manage the program messages described above. We do not sell mobile numbers. We do not share SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties for their marketing. We may use a texting vendor solely to deliver messages under contract and confidentiality restrictions.
Do not put highly sensitive information in a text reply (for example, Social Security numbers, medical details, or passwords). If a message requires a signature or private document, we will point you to a secure link in the Service.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to run the program:
- With the student’s school or program. The school/program is typically the organization that controls student education records. Staff with a legitimate program need may access relevant student records.
- With parents/guardians. We may share information about a minor student’s account, placement, agreements, timesheets, and related notices per FERPA requirements.
- With the approved employer/host site. We share only what is needed for that placement: student name and relevant contact information, schedule, timesheets, signed placement documents, and communications about attendance or workplace expectations. Host sites may use this information only to supervise the placement.
- With service providers. Hosting, email, SMS delivery, e-signature, customer support, and similar vendors may process data for us. They may not use it for their own marketing.
- For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of a student or other person.
- Business transfers. If we merge, are acquired, or sell assets, information may transfer subject to this Policy and any school contract. We will not treat that as a sale of student data for advertising.
Further:
- We do not sell student personal information.
- We do not use student personal information for targeted advertising.
- We do not rent student or parent contact lists.
6. Student privacy, FERPA, COPPA, and state laws
Education records
When we provide the Service to a school or district, we process student information as a service provider / school official for the school’s WBL program, acting as an agent of the school or district as laid out in FERPA. In that case:
- The school retains control of the student record
- We use the information only to provide the contracted educational/WBL service
- We do not disclose student information except as the school directs or law requires
- We will support the school’s obligations under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and applicable state student-privacy laws, including California SOPIPA / Education Code § 49073.1 and similar state operator laws where they apply
Schools should have a written agreement with us before uploading student rosters or education records.
Children under 13
GlidePath WBL is designed for high school WBL programs and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it unless a school is authorized to provide COPPA consent for a purely educational use and has directed us to maintain the account.
Students under 18
For users under 18:
- A parent/guardian or school, as applicable, may access, correct, or request deletion of the student’s information, subject to school record-retention rules
- We collect the minimum information needed for the WBL activity
- We do not condition participation on extra data that is unrelated to the program
- Marketing to students based on their personal information is not permitted
7. Parental and eligible-student rights
Parents/guardians of minor students, eligible students (generally 18+), and schools may request to:
- Review personal information we maintain
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information we are not required to keep
- Withdraw SMS consent
- Receive a copy of relevant records we hold as a vendor
Education records maintained for a school may need to be requested through the school, because the school controls those records. Email [email protected] and tell us your name, role, the student’s name and school, and the request. We may need to verify identity and school affiliation before fulfilling it.
8. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the WBL program, school/district contract, legal holds, audit requirements, and workplace or education record-retention rules.
When a school contract ends, or when a school or parent/eligible student makes a valid deletion request, we will delete or de-identify student personal information in our systems within a reasonable period, except for copies we must retain by law or for security/dispute records. Backup copies expire on our normal backup cycle.
SMS logs are retained only as needed to deliver messages, prove consent/opt-out, provide support, and meet legal recordkeeping duties.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to an education service, including encryption in transit, access controls based on role (school, employer, parent, student), and vendor contracts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users should use school- or parent-approved devices and keep login credentials private.
10. Cookies and analytics
We use necessary cookies or similar technologies to keep users signed in and protect the Service. If we use analytics, we configure them to avoid targeted advertising to students and to limit collection to what is needed to operate and improve the Service. We do not use student data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
11. Third-party links and employer systems
The Service may link to a school SSO provider, or other school-selected service. Those services have their own privacy practices. This Policy covers information we control.
12. International users
We currently operate in the United States and store information in the U.S.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change, and material changes affecting student data or SMS practices will be posted in the Service and, where required, sent to schools or users. Continued use after the effective date means the updated Policy applies, except where school contract terms or consent rules require additional notice.
